Things to Note

The evening social event held on 12 February was very successful.

A special thank you to Pat Killick and helpers.

After this issue the Newsletter will no longer be posted to individuals. Members with emails will have it sent to them and copies will be available in the clubhouse for other members.

When using the Club facilities please be extra careful to check:

• Floodlights and Clubhouse Lights are off - these are still being left on occasions…a drain on Club finances and the environment.
• Courts are locked when you have finished playing.
• You use the correct bins for disposal of your rubbish in and around the Clubhouse.

Junior Team Keys

New Court keys will be issued to Juniors on 1st April 2010.

You will be required to return your old key in order to get your new one so make sure you see Paul Shakespeare or Phil Scott to sort this out.

Reminder from the coach-Junior coaching starts on 13 march 2010.

Training Sessions with Phil Scott

Summer Team Captains have the opportunity to arrange training sessions with Phil so get in touch as soon as possible to organise your sessions.

Payment for these sessions will be made by the club.

Membership Renewal Due by 1st March 2010

The Form is attached for you to renew your membership. Please note the Club will be enforcing the late payment fee of £5.00 so do your best to get it in on time.

New Babies for Club Members

To Olivier and Jing Foucart on the arrival of their son Antonin on January 30th 2010.

To Steve and Dawn Nagy on the arrival of their son Elliot on 17th December 2010 - a brother for Alex.

Handicap Floodlit Tournament

Entries must be returned by: Friday 5th. March.

The draw will be displayed on the club notice board from Friday 12th. March

The Finals will be held on Sunday 9th. May.

Singles Ladder Tournament

Steve May beat Keith Bredin in the Final.

Match Secretary's Report

League fixture meeting 18th March, same number of teams as last year. Selection meeting to be arranged by Alison before the end of March.

At the League AGM it was decided to trial a web based self posting system this summer, as well as scorecards, for posting results. Alison will liaise with team captains.
